Your Donation Helps Us Feed Marylanders & Support Farmers
The Maryland Department of Agriculture welcomes donations to support the Maryland Market Money (MMM) program and the Bridge Benefit emergency enhancement, which help Maryland families access fresh, local food while supporting our farmers.
To make a donation:
Submit a W-9 form and a letter/memo stating that you wish to make a donation to the “Farms and Families Fund at MDA.”
Mail both items, along with your donation, to:
Maryland Department of Agriculture
Attn: Office of Marketing, Animal Industries and Consumer Services
c/o Cristina Berthelot, Food Access Programs Manager
50 Harry S. Truman Parkway
Annapolis, MD 21401
Your contribution directly supports local farmers and strengthens food access for Maryland communities. For more information, please contact the Food Access Programs Manager. Thank you for being part of this important work!
You can also make a donation to the Maryland Market Money program through the Farms and Food Access for a Resilient Maryland (FFARMD) Foundation.
Maryland Market Money is funded through state funds, federal grants, private foundations, and individual donations. When you make a donation to Maryland Market Money, you’re supporting a lean and multitasking program. Each matching dollar works three times: first to feed a hungry Marylander, second to improve the financial viability of a local farmer, and third to stimulate the Maryland economy.
“The match helps my family eat healthier foods that we couldn't otherwise afford. It makes market shopping economical for us. Without the match, I'd have to buy cheaper and less healthy food."
— Maria, Maryland Market Money Shopper from Langley Park, MD
